A. Application for Business Funding
The David Namwandi Trust (DNT) extends its Annual Invitation for the financial year 2025/2026, to prospectiveyoung graduates who aspire to be business entrepreneurs.The purpose of this intervention is to identify and nurture entrepreneurs, start-up SME’s with viable proposals to avail funds to enable young entrepreneurs graduates from IUM, UNAM, NUST and any private institution duly accredited by NQA, NCHE and/or NTA, to formulate a commercially, financially and environmentally viable growth strategy that will significantly enhance the possibility of a Sustainable Business Plan without the need for further external funding in the following priority areas:
- Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Business Start-Up Projects
- Community Health and Environmental Projects
- Agriculture and Food Processing Projects
- Water and Energy Security Projects
- Human Resources Development Projects
- Information and Communications Technology Projects
- Educational Projects (Kindergarten)
- Business Administration Projects

B. Application for Company Business Shareholding Participation
David Namwandi Trust (DNT) invites applicants who must be exclusively IUM students and fully registered IUM Alumni graduates aspiring to become business entrepreneurs and who will be coached to be co-owners in established private enterprises.The following priority areas should be well articulated in a viable business plan:
- Community Health and Environmental Projects
- Education and Information Technology Projects
- Water and Energy Security Projects
- Agriculture and Food Processing Projects
- Consultancy, Trade and Manufacturing
- Any other sound business venture initiated by the aspiring entrepreneurs
