Honoring Dignity Day, to unlock opportunities for the Namibian girl child

IUM celebrated its 1st dignity day which was facilitated by the founder of dear Girl Namibia, IUM’s faculty officer of Education Ms. Justine Andreas, in partnership with UNESCO and the Office of the First Lady.
The event was hosted on Friday, 28 April 2023, at IUM Main Campus, Dorado Park, Windhoek . The initiative of the celebration was to educate and inspire young girls on their self-worth, value, identity and belongingness in unlocking opportunities. Dignity day is globally recognized, and the celebration was attended by more than 200 IUM students.
The day was graced by different keynote speakers from different Institutions and was concluded with donations of food packages and a dignity hampers for each student.
