Welcome to the School of Secondary and Postgraduate Education

We are excited to welcome you to the School of Secondary and Postgraduate Education at The International University of Management. The School offers diverse programmes at different levels that suits your educational qualification needs. If you intend to pursue a secondary education qualification or you would like to advance your career with a postgraduate programme in education, our school is committed to providing you with an enriching academic experience.

Our secondary education level programmes integrate theory and practical experience, preparing you to tackle the challenges of modern classrooms. At the postgraduate level, our programmes focuses on advanced research methodologies, empowering students to conduct independent studies and address key issues in education. We aim to produce quality educators (teachers and lecturers), curriculum developers, educational planners, managers, administrators, counselors and researchers who are able to navigate the ever-evolving educational landscape victoriously. We are committed to meeting both national and international education quality standards, ensuring our students excel in diverse teaching and learning environments.

For postgraduate students, we offer you a range of postgraduate programmes, including:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF Level 8)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (NQF Level 8)
• Bachelor of Education in Educational Leadership, Management and policy Honours (NQF Level 8)
• Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy (NQF Level 9)
• Master of Education in Mathematics and Science Education (NQF Level 9)
• PhD in Education (NQF Level 10)

At the undergraduate level, we offer:

• Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education Honours (NQF Level 8) with specializations in Commerce, Languages, Science and Social sciences.

These programmes are tailored to provide specialised knowledge and research skills to students, enabling them to function in various educational settings.  In order to accommodate the diverse needs of our students, the postgraduate programmes are offered through flexible modes of study, including part-time and blended learning across our various campuses.
