DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Should be able to teach Mathematics Science for Secondary Phase and for Senior Primary Phase.
- Should be able to teach other core educational courses and;
- Perform all other teaching duties such as supervision of students’ research projects; engage in research and publication activities and engage in community engagement activities.
- The candidate should be able to apply ICT skills in teaching and learning
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Master’s in Mathematics and Sciences or in related fields.
- With at least five years (5) teaching experience in the above subject at AS level or three (3) years lecturing experience. Experience
- A relevant PhD in Education degree will serve as an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate.

FACULTY OF INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high-quality lectures in Digital Electronics Design, Circuit Analysis, Engineering Calculus, Engineering Analytics and Virtual Instrumentation, and related Electronics Engineering fields.
- Develop and enhance course curricula in line with industry trends and academic best practices.
- Supervising student projects and final-year design projects.
- Designing and moderating assessments such as tests, assignments, projects, and examinations
- Integrating simulation tools and industry-relevant software into teaching
- Conduct research and contribute to knowledge creation in the field of Electronics Engineering.
- Supporting blended and online learning through the institutional LMS
- Maintain and improve academic standards within the faculty.
- Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, curriculum development, and student support initiatives.
- Providing academic consultation and mentorship to students
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3-5 years teaching experience in Digital Electronics Design, Circuit Analysis, Engineering Calculus, Engineering Analytics and Virtual Instrumentation, and related Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in in laboratory-based teaching and supervision.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as MATLAB, Multisim, Proteus, LTspice, LabVIEW or similar tools.
- Experience in online teaching and learning technologies will be an added advantage.

- Strong coding and programming skills, with proficiency in key programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, SQL, .NET, and HTML.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Experience in online teaching and learning technologies will be an added advantage.

1 X Student Counsellor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide professional counselling service to students to ensure the emotional and professional growth of students.
- Counsel prospective students on the admissions process and opportunities at the university.
- One-on-one counselling to diverse populations of students.
- Provide referral services such as mental health or substance abuse.
- Assist with conflict mediation and resolution between students, parents, lecturers to ensure student studies are not disrupted.
- Assist in the development and delivery of on-campus events and programmes for counselling groups and individuals.
- Maintaining and disseminating information about counselling services to students.
- Making informational presentations to stakeholders.
- Develops tools to assess individual improvement in behavior during counselling.
- Lecture/mentor students in assigned class.
- Monitor activities of assigned students and complete final evaluations.
- Monitor and provide material support to individual students.
- Advice management in the planning for support of transfer of learning in and around the working environment.
- Provide a positive, enthusiastic appearance and be a role model for all students.
- Perform any other related duties as shall be determined from time to time by management.
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- A recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling or Psychology or equivalent.
- A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- The incumbent must have excellent analytical skills; excellent listening and communication skills; good interpersonal skills with high level of emotional intelligence, and be willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines whenever necessary.
- Five (5) years’ experience in the field of counselling with good knowledge of counselling principles, techniques and practices.
- Should be computer literate.

- Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and stimulate learning in Taxonomy.
- Supervise research and undertake research and other tasks related to these positions at postgraduate level.

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- A master’s degree in education with a specialisation in Early Childhood Education, Pre- and Junior Primary Education, or Curriculum Studies or related field.

1 X ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (Eenhana CAMPUS)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes and maintains up to date library materials.
- Executes day-to-day activities within the library by receiving and issuing library books and borrowed materials.
- Check-in and out library materials.
- Ascertains library authorization of students and university staff.
- Conducts regular library stock counts to ensure that all books, materials and equipment are accounted for.
- Maintaining order and safeguarding library materials.
- Undertakes User Needs Assessments.
- Undertakes information literacy.
- Actively engage the academic community to ensure effective support to teaching, learning and research.
- Compiles quarterly and annual reports.
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- B – degree, preferably in Library and Information Science or related field.
- Two (2) years working experience in an institution of higher learning or a similar institution.
- Broad working knowledge and understanding of library and information science.
- Proficient in library e-resource training will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in library management systems will also be an added advantage
- Ability to develop and empower others is also an added advantage.
