IUM partners with Hub for Namibia Innovation to promote innovation and development

The International University of Management (IUM) on Tuesday, 8 April 2025 partnered with the Hub for Namibia Innovation, a product of collaboration vision, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The MOU will allow the Hub for Namibia Innovation and IUM to co-create and co-deliver the kind of infrastructure that intentionally nurtures innovation from concepts to real world impact.

During the signing ceremony at IUM’s Dorado Campus Windhoek, IUM’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Osmund Mwandemele emphasized the importance of the MOU as a significant milestone of shared commitments to drive innovation and create solutions that are both practical and transformative. “At IUM, we recognize that innovation is not merely a tool, but it is a necessary catalyst for national development,” said Prof. Mwandemele.

Ms. Kaunapaua Ndilula, The Founder and Chairperson of the Hub for Namibia Innovation stated that the MOU represents: “…our today, our collective decisions to act with intent. It outlines our areas of collaboration, responsive to support the journey of innovation to realized products”, said Ms. Ndilula.

Through this partnership, IUM and the Hub for Namibia Innovation aims to co-create innovation systems and frameworks that are responsive to Namibia’s unique challenges and opportunities.
