IUM was represented and offered expert presentations in the Regional Workshop on Strengthening Trade Unions' Capacities to Lobby and Advocate for Labour Provisions in Trade and Investment Agreements in Africa, that took place in Entebbe, Uganda, 19-21 August 2025. This workshop’s objective was to enhance the capacity of African trade union organisations to advocate more effectively, for the substantive inclusion of enforceable labour provisions in trade and investment agreements.
