Young Voices Debate the Future of Namibia's Fisheries | IUM Student News
On 4 July 2025, IUM's Coastal Campus in collaboration with the Municipality of Walvis Bay's Youth Climate Action Fund Project, brought together learners from four Walvis Bay schools namely: Tutaleni High School, Duinesig High School, Kuisebmund Secondary School and De Duine Secondary School for a debate on overfishing, illegal fishing and the exploitation of the possibility of restocking wild stock. The event drew approximately 100 participants.
