IUM Joins Malaysian Embassy in Eid Festivities

Today, 3 April 2025, The International University of Management (IUM) paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Embassy to partake in the joyous Eid Celebration upon invitation by His Excellency, The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Namibia Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Rameez Bin Yahaya And his dear wife, Madam Datin Noor Zulaikha Nangaie, further strengthening a relationship built on mutual respect, collaboration and shared aspirations.

IUM has long enjoyed a deep and symbiotic relationship with Malaysia, a bond that has flourished over the years through academic, cultural and diplomatic exchanges. This friendship was profoundly reinforced by the historic visit to IUM by His Majesty the King of Malaysia last year, a moment highlighting the university’s growing international footprint and its commitment to strengthening global partnerships.

Malaysia’s rich expertise in education, technology and economic development has served as an inspiration for IUM. Likewise, IUM continues to play a vital role in advancing educational and research collaborations, ensuring that both nations benefit from this enduring partnership.

Today’s Eid celebration was a powerful and meaningful reflection of Ubuntu, which is an undeniably exceptional value that embodies collective growth and unity, essential for nation-building. As IUM continues to expand its international engagements, its relationship with Malaysia remains a pillar of strength in shaping a truly global academic institution.
