IUM FC are the Champions of the Oshana Central 3rd Division after an impressive 2025 league showdown narrowly edging the 2nd ranked team, Omatando UTD FC. IUM FC served the best for the last, with a total ruthless annihilation of its opponents Oshakati United, 4-0 in the epic final match of the season which took place on 6 July 2025.
The emphatic win on the final day highlighted IUM FC’s determination and skill, capping off a season marked by consistency, discipline and passion on the pitch.
During the post-match prize-giving ceremony, Ms. Anna Namwandi, Club Director, highlighted that IUM is marking its national footprint beyond the lecture halls, providing its students and stakeholders a rich well-rounded education experience.
“We are humbled by such success and as IUM, we will continue to provide full management support to ensure that our youths enjoy the university life beyond the academia. A good health lifestyle through sports is complementary to great critical mind. At IUM we build critical nation builders and change makers both in the lectures and beyond”.
