On 19 February 2025, The International University of Management (IUM) and MEDITECH South Africa signed a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to drive innovation in digital healthcare solutions. The strategic partnership focuses on capacity building, implementation of health information systems, and expanding digital healthcare initiatives in Namibia.
Through IUM’s Centre for Digital Initiatives (CDI), the collaboration will enhance skills development, support local healthcare IT operations, and drive innovation in electronic health records and data analytics. This agreement marks a significant step towards advancing Namibia’s public and private healthcare sectors through digital transformation.
