Master of Education - Educational Leadership, Management and Policy Education (NQF Level 9)
Admission/Entry Requirements
• A candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor Honours Degree in Education (NQF level 8) or an equivalent relevant qualification at NQF level 8 with an average of 60% passing score and above.
OR
• A candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor Honours Degree in Education or any equivalent relevant qualification from a recognised higher education institution at NQF level 8 with a minimum of two years teaching experience.
Duration of the Qualification
2 Years – Maximum: 4 Years, Maximum duration: 6 years.
Masters of Science in Knowledge Management Sciences (NQF Level 9)
Admission/Entry Requirements
• A Postgraduate Diploma in knowledge Management Sciences (NQF Level
8) or any qualification at NQF Level 8 in an un-related discipline with a
minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
Duration of the Qualification
Minimum: 2 Year – Maximum: 4 Years
Postgraduate Diploma in Education
Admission/Entry Requirements
• Recognized Bachelor degree at NQF Level 7 or equivalent.
The undergraduate record must demonstrate that the candidate has acquired two(2) school subjects content knowledge during three consecutive years of studies at the university (please see the checklist for IUM Postgraduate Diploma in Education prospectus for available subject combinations at the secondary level.

Minimum 1 year, maximum 2 years.
Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education
Admission/Entry Requirements
•Candidate must hold a recognized minimum qualification at NQF Level 8, and working as a lecturer, trainer, tutor or instructor at a tertiary institution or institution of higher learning, or organization training departments or equivalent, subject to approval by faculty postgraduate admission committee. In addition, recognition of prior learning (RPL) will apply.

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration

• Undergraduate degree (NQF level 7) or equivalent in any discipline.

Bachelor of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development Honours
Admission/Entry Requirements
- NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 25 points in 5 subjects, including minimum D in English on IUM’s evaluation scale,
- Diploma in Sustainable Ocean and Aquaculture Management at NQF Level 6
- Diploma in Water Resources Management NQF Level 6

Diploma in Sustainable Ocean and Aquaculture Management
Admission/Entry Requirements

- Certificate in Sustainable Ocean and Aquaculture Management NQF Level 5 or equivalent.

Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management
Admission/Entry Requirements
- NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 23 points in 5 subjects, including minimum D in English on IUM’s evaluation scale,
- Certificate in Transport and Logistics Management (NQF Level 5) or related fields at NQF Level 5.

Diploma in Water Resources Management
Admission/Entry Requirements
- NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 23 points in 5 subjects, including minimum D in English on IUM’s evaluation scale,
- Certificate in Water Resources Management NQF Level 5 or equivalent.

Diploma in Maritime and Port Management
Admission/Entry Requirements
- NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 23 points in 5 subjects, including minimum D in English on IUM’s evaluation scale,
- Certificate in Transport and Logistics Management (NQF Level 5) or related fields at NQF Level 5.

Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
Admission/Entry Requirements
- NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 23 points in 5 subjects, including minimum D in English on IUM’s evaluation scale,
- Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety NQF 5 or related fields at NQF level 5.

Admission/Entry Requirements:
- NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 20 points in 5 subjects, including minimum D in English and an E in Mathematic for Business Information Systems.
Students also enter through mature age provided that they:
- Are 25 years old or over in the year in which admission is sought
- Have at least 3 years relevant experience
- Must have a passed grade 10 certificate

Admission/Entry Requirements:
Certificates
- Students will be admitted into this qualification if they hold Namibia Secondary School Certificate (NSSC) with a minimum of 18 points in five (5) best subjects with a minimum of D in English or equivalent. Students not meeting the English requirement will be required to do English Language course.
- Students may also enter through mature age with grade 10 and are required to write a mature age entry exam.
Diplomas
- Students will be admitted into this qualification if they hold a certificate in (Secretarial and Office Administration) or an equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
- Students may also enter through mature age with grade 10 and are required to write a mature age entry exam.
Duration of the Qualification
- These qualifications will be offered for over 1 Year. Semester one (1) runs from January to June and semester two (2) runs from July to November. Formal and Practical exams are written in October /November of every academic year.
