Students will be eligible for admission into this qualification if they hold a Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) or Namibia Secondary School Certificate Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) level or a combination of both, with a minimum of 25 points, having passed five subjects with at least a D symbol in English at NSSCO. In addition to meeting the general admission requirements of the University, candidates must have achieved either (i) a minimum B symbol in NSSCO Mathematics or (ii) a minimum e symbol in NSSCAS Mathematics.

For candidates with the old NSSC qualifications, they must have obtained either (i) a minimum B symbol in the old NSSC Ordinary Level Mathematics, or (ii) a minimum grade 4 in the old NSSC Higher Level Mathematics.
