DORADO CAMPUS
1 X Analyst Programmer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively capture and document user requirements
- Design, conceptualize and document software solutions
- Develop code using strict programming and version control standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all systems and applications
- Perform routine system analysis and maintenance and report bugs and improvements to sprint backlogs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
- Engage in DevOps tasks, including continuous integration and deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management
- Learn from the Software Developer through mentorship and hands-on projects
- Participate in hackathons and coding competitions
- Mentor interns within the centre and those attached to partnering stakeholders
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in software programming
- Good knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with web technologies and frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js)
- Proficiency in database design and SQL
- Experience with unix-based systems (Linux, MacOS)
- Knowledge of mobile application development including Kotlin and React Native
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Active GitHub account
- Be open to learning advanced coding techniques and software development methodologies.
- Strong coding and programming skills, with proficiency in key programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, SQL, .NET, and HTML.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE

1 X IT Analyst
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble and configure computers and other IT hardware.
- Ensure the organized and secure storage for IT equipment.
- Support the distribution and inventory of IT equipment within the university and to external clients.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues.
- Assist with IT sales and customer inquiries.
- Document equipment inventory and maintenance activities.
- Mentor interns within the centre and those attached to partnering stakeholders
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT industry.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT sales with gross annual sales amounting to no less than N$ 2 million, proof required.
- Experience in supplier relations and customer service.
- Experience with computer assembly, support and warranty issues.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

DORADO CAMPUS – WINDHOEK
1 x Lecturer (Social Sciences)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Should be able to teach History and Geography for Secondary Phase and Social Studies for Senior Primary Phase.
- Should be able to teach other core educational courses.
- Perform teaching duties; supervision of students’ research projects; engage in research and publication activities and engage in community development activities as per IUM policy
- The candidate should be able to apply ICT skills in teaching and learning.
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Master of Education and should have an undergraduate qualification with specialisation in History and Geography Education for Secondary Phase.
- With at least five years (5) teaching experience in the above subject or three (3) years lecturing experience.
- A relevant PhD in Education degree will serve as an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate
